Nikolaj Coster-Waldau To Play Horus In Gods Of Egypt. Jade Stallworthy June 6, 2013 Uncategorized 2 Granted the title of this post does not sound too enthralling, but trust us when we say seeing The Kingslayer in a slightly less villainous role may well be just what the maester ordered! Widely known as Jaime Lannister in HBO’s hit medieval television series Game Of Thrones; Nikolaj Coster- Waldau has decided to dabble in some cinematic forms of storytelling. The star has signed up to play deity Horus in Alex Proyas’s ancient epic Gods Of Egypt. Headed by Summit Entertainment, Coster-Waldau will play Horus, son of Osiris, who goes on a mission of vengeance after the murder of his father. Accompanying Horus on his journey will be Hathor, the goddess of love and a random human thief. While this film is still in the pre-production stages, Coster-Waldau has decided to take part in a couple of Hollywood projects; including horror feature Mama and sci-fi epic Oblivion. The actor is set next to star in A Thousand Times Good Night and Nick Cassavetes’s comedy The Other Women, alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. But, for the meantime, we will just continue watching him as the character we all love to hate in Game Of Thrones! I really liked that one, I think? I get it confused with another movie sometimes. He’s such a great actor. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
